A Bit About Me

Everybody is unique, with their own strengths and limitations. I have found in my 10 years of practicing Pilates that there are a variety of ways to reach our health goals. Those goals can be weight loss, increased mobility, graceful aging or lifting your grandchildren. My goal as an instructor is to build a customized plan based upon your abilities, schedule and most importantly, your personal health goals.
After practicing Pilates for 10 years and to celebrate turning 50, I decided to pursue a Balanced Body Instructor Certification in Mat and Reformer. I have spent my professional life in public education as a Spanish/ESL teacher and a high school guidance counselor. I currently reside in Tuscaloosa, AL with my husband of 30 years and our two dogs, Tallulah and UnOur two children are currently pursuing their education and career goals.
